Before the Expo begins, Redemption Press authors gather for a full day of practical training designed to help you engage with retailers confidently and maximize every opportunity. This focused preparation ensures you’ll step into CPE equipped, encouraged, and ready to represent your book with excellence.

As part of your CPE experience, you’ll take time to personally sign copies of your book in preparation for the Apps & Autographs Party—a highlight of the Expo where you’ll place your book directly into the hands of store owners from across the United States. This unique event allows retailers to connect with you face-to-face, hear your heart for your message, and carry that enthusiasm back to their customers. It’s more than giving away a book—it’s creating a lasting impression that can open doors for future sales, signings, and ministry opportunities.

Showcase your book in a stunning double-size booth located at the entrance of the showroom—a prime location that ensures maximum visibility as retailers arrive. Each author receives one hour of booth time per day to personally engage with store owners, share the heart of their message, and represent their book with excellence.
Your space includes a featured author poster plus an 8x8 banner display highlighting your book cover as the backdrop, creating a professional and eye-catching presentation that captures attention and invites meaningful connections.

The Munce Catalog is one of the most effective ways to reach retailers. When store owners are purchasing at CPE, many order books featured in the catalog either at CPE or before the catalog drops—because those are the books their customers are already looking for.
This Catalog is sent from MUNCE Marketing to the retailers customer base. The reach is extensive:

Apps & Autographs Signing Party
On Sunday evening, you and your book will be featured at the highly anticipated Apps & Autographs Party. You’ll have your own display table alongside other featured authors, where retailers stop to see new releases and engage in conversation.
At this event, you’ll pre-sign 100 copies of your book to personally give to store owners. These conversations build excitement and often lead to purchases at the booth for their stores.
CPE only allows traditionally published authors—Redemption Press authors are the exception.
Lunch and Learn for Retailers with Athena & Carol
Before the event, you’ll participate in a virtual or in-person product pitch hosted by Athena Dean Holtz and Carol Tetzlaff. This is your opportunity to clearly present the heart of your book and highlight how it will serve readers—building retailer interest and anticipation before CPE even begins.
Video Spotlight at the Dinner Program (when available)
Your book will be highlighted in a video spotlight shown during the CPE dinner program, viewed by all attending retailers and vendors. This puts your message in front of the entire audience in one of the Expo’s most attended gatherings.
Custom Marketing Video Trailer
Ahead of CPE we will create a custom messaging script to promote your book. You will meet with our team on Streamyard to film your video.
Our team will design a video promotion trailer featuring you, your book, and engaging images and text for promotion to retailers. You will also receive the MP4 file perfect for events, your website, and other marketing opportunities.
CPE AUTHOR MARKETING
Marketing messaging will be customized for each author to assist with promotion and conversations at CPE.
Customized marketing collateral created to assist you in planning your next steps after CPE to keep the relationship moving forward.
Retailer attendee list will be sent 2-4 weeks after CPE once we receive it from MUNCE. This includes the store names, owners, address, email, and phone number.
MEDIA at CPE
CPE invites media to attend and conduct interviews. This can include postcaster, TV, and radio. Each CPE brings a unique list of media.
We will send an introduction to all media in attendance introducing them to you, your book, and the message it represents.
You will receive the list to reach out personally along with custom messaging we create. Each author is responsible for follow up after our initial introduction to schedule interviews.
CPE Program & CRA Today Feature
Ahead of CPE, your book will be featured in both the CPE Program and CRA Today (Christian Retailing Association)—publications distributed to all retailers, even those not attending the show.
Your listing includes your book’s cover, description, and ISBN, providing an easy ordering reference and ensuring your title is on the radar of buyers nationwide.
